My name is Renan and I’m a Brazilian cinematographer based in East Providence, RI. I have always been surrounded by art – my family is full of musicians, photographers, painters, and I fell in love with the screens. Fusing art and technology, I started as an amateur designer, working with apparel companies and local artists. Years later, I bought my first camcorder and started to create.

After years working in petroleum technology for a large multi-national company in Brazil, I decided to move to America and restart my life doing what I love. Over the past years, I have been freelance cinematography, camera assistant and operation, color grading, and producing for a few Boston-area production companies, as well as, local musicians.
