My name is Renan and I’m a Brazilian cinematographer based in East Providence, RI. I have always been surrounded by art – my family is full of musicians, photographers, painters, and I fell in love with the screens. Fusing art and technology, I started as an amateur designer, working with apparel companies and local artists. Years later, I bought my first camcorder and started to create.

After years working in petroleum technology for a large multi-national company in Brazil, I decided to move to the United States and restart my life doing what I love. Over the past decade, I have been a freelance cinematographer, working consistently with a few New England production companies and agencies.
